“Arriving at each new city, the traveler finds again a past of his that he did not know he had: the foreignness of what you no longer are or no longer possess lies in wait for you in foreign, unpossessed places.” - from Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.” -F. Scott Fitzgerald

So today was my last day of classes as an undergrad! hooray! Still have 3 finals and a paper but classes are done. Only 2 weeks to graduation and then my life is completely unknown. I have no idea wtf I am going to be doing. I’m looking for a job and maybe an internship too. I have already applied to a few places and am looking for more. I will probably try to take the LSAT by the end of the summer and might take an advanced Japanese class in fall so as to not forget my Japanese and to get even better. I’m excited but also very nervous right now. I’m not sure what kind of further schooling I will do or what sort of career I am looking for but I’m a bit excited to try to find out in the next few months at least.
In other news I’m happy I will be able to read for leisure more once my finals are over. And I have had a bit of good luck lately! I won a happy hour at a bar for Thursday night and got field level tickets to next Sunday’s Mets game from a friend of my dad’s. Lets hope this little roll can continue for a bit longer.
